Dungen

Dungen is a random dungeon map generator aimed at traditional (pen and paper) role playing games. Game masters can use it as an inspirational tool when creating adventures before game sessions or bring Dungen with them during real play for generating dungeon maps on the fly. When run on a tablet device, Dungen can be put at the center of the game table and act as a digital surface for miniatures or it can be passed among players to see their characters' surroundings. With its configurable generation engine, Dungen can quickly create a virtually infinite number of dungeons and optionally populate them with random icons of monsters. Maps created with Dungen are not aimed at any specific game system and are suitable for any RPG. Dungen's internal map viewer shows a bird's eye view of the dungeon area and is complete with scrolling and zooming for large maps (using the mouse or touch gestures). Generated dungeons are saved as a collection of miniature thumbnails for quick opening in the viewer, and can be renamed as desired. Let Dungen inspire you!
