In this world, an object may serve as a reflection of the soul. An affection for the blade might reveal bloodlust, or perhaps a desire to protect others, despite its power to end a life. Morality is too often defined by the will of an overwhelming majority, a reality I find deeply troubling. Even so, I hold no resentment toward anybody.
