Great game to me
I actually fw this game honestly
Goodbye Bioware
Great game. Emmrich and Neve were my fav ROs. Though the romances did feel lacking. They/Them characters sucked, why do we need mental illness in games? Glad mass effect didnt get that treatment.
I liked the idea of the story but the dialogue is cringe and that they\them companion was a joke
67/67 stars
Amazing game. Love it! Didn't compare this to the other games cause Origins was crap 2nd one i refused to touch and inquisition was okay just repeatative like all games are.
The ending wasnt terrible like mass effect 3 decent enough besides the dragon girl talkin the fun outta the game please go back to your roots
Tragedy 1/10
The 1/10 I gave is I did love exploring and how beautiful the areas were. Not as good as Inquisition, but still good.
After 40 honest hours trying to give it a chance, I’ve uninstalled it and won’t be coming back. Such a shame after how much joy the older games brought me. 1/10 at best.
Combat became a repetitive, drawn-out slog—far too many long fights with only two companions (what happened to three?). It stopped being fun and started feeling like a chore. I also found some romance options, like Emmrich, genuinely off-putting and creepy—definitely not my idea of appealing.
As an older woman who’s loved Dragon Age since Origins for its deep stories, meaningful choices, and satisfying combat, Veilguard was a huge disappointment. The earlier games let you shape your character through real dialogue options—you could be witty, cruel, compassionate, or deadly serious, and it truly affected the story. Here, even when I picked “snarky” or “angry,” the lines felt childish, mismatched, and flat. The writing just doesn’t compare. Combat became a repetitive, drawn-out sl
1/10 - Total Garbage, Uninstalling Now Terrible dialogue—like a 5-year-old wrote it. Snarky/angry options say the dumbest, most mismatched crap ever. Combat is grueling, miserable, and drags forever—way too much. Only TWO companions in battle? WTF? Why can’t we have huge body parts? Why!?!?! Voice acting is the worst I’ve heard, especially non-English female Rook—disgusting. No effort, no fun. Deleting this trash and never touching it again. Avoid.
Dlc with a twist u get a dragon to raise to fight with you
Every other dragon age had dlc but this one didn't is that because it was less well received than the others making it seem like you don't care unless it does well because that's not the attitude of someone who cares about the games they make only the money.
We need a remaster/remake of origins, 2, and inquisiton. It would be the best decision at this point and would be listening to fans who are still hoping for the quality and story that made. Dragon age such an amazing game
Good game. Not a banger tho
🙌🙌❤️
Should be called "Dragon Age - Grief Counselor" or "Dragon Age - Life Coach". That said, it's mostly good with many improvements.
I stopped playing these games when they take out BLOOD MAGIC
Also lack of political elements like Chantry – Templar conflict. The dialogues are childish, the companions lack depth and main storyline is an absolute mess. I hate that game for what it did to the DA universe.
If this game had been released as a new IP instead of Dragon Age it wouldnt ve faced such heavy criticism. The gameplay is initially enjoyable, the graphics are impressive, and there are virtually no optimization issues... However, the graphics feel out of place in DA universe. The game lacks the dark fantasy elements that form the core of the DA.
