What is Waypoint?
Waypoint is an independent, community-built companion for Xbox players. Browse game libraries, explore player profiles, discover and join clubs, and share your captured gameplay — all from a single place, on any device.
Our story
Waypoint is the rebranded continuation of XboxReplay (xboxreplay.net), a service that's been running since 2015. The name changed; the service, the infrastructure, and the team behind it did not. Accounts, saved data, and everything you uploaded to XboxReplay carried over intact.
How it works
Waypoint retrieves gaming data from Microsoft and Xbox APIs using officially documented, publicly available endpoints. We do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or bypass access controls. When you sign in with your Microsoft account, you authorize Waypoint to read data on your behalf through Microsoft's own authentication flow — we never see or store your Microsoft password.
What we don't do
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation or Xbox. All Xbox, Microsoft, and game-related trademarks and branding belong to their respective owners.
- We do not sell personal data. Ever.
- We do not moderate or endorse user-uploaded gameplay captures. Content shown on Waypoint is sourced from Xbox services and remains subject to Microsoft's terms.
